Once upon a time, Back in 2002 (TM), there were a few giddy and stressed out sixteen-year-old girls, who decided upon going their separate ways at graduation, that eljay was a most excellent excellent way of keeping updated with each other's exciting lives. Nevermind that some updated no more than twice a year. Or that there were others who went over to the dark side, in favour of those horrible-things-that-start-with-a-B-and-end-with-a-Log. Many months, and much LJ-evangelising later, this group had grown to include everyone and their mother.
It took hardly any time at all for a certain LJer among this group to earn the dubious distinction of being excessively boring/rambly/geeky. Fortunately enough for this pitiable misfit (whose only crime was verbosity coupled with unbridled excitement over decidedly geeky things), there existed a whole wide LJ world, populated by numerous geeks whose very existence made her feel all warm on the insides. There were geeky politics communities, (orch)dorky music communities (dedicated to violinpianocello Squee.) and fantabulous geeky people. Some of whom share her insane love for cellos and babbly footnotes, eee. The point being - and I do have one, really I do - that this LJ is a rather sad mix of excited omgsquee!!11!!-type rambling about geeky interests (aka My Boring Life), rants about every other thing (aka Stupid People), and reflections on anything from religion and politics to the character development in Clueless. Which is a great movie, by the way, shut your face.
